Lobber place

The Lobber Ort is a cape on the Mönchgut peninsula belonging to Rügen , which protrudes into the eastern Baltic Sea.

The name arises from the neighboring village of Lobbe . The coastline of the Lobber place is determined by a steep bank , which rises about 15 meters above the beach. Long sandy beaches stretch north and south in the direction of Göhren and Thiessow . The Fritz-Worm-Stein lies a little north of the Lobber village, next to other boulders . Due to the surf and other weather conditions, land was lost in the past. This process continues.
