Lobby (room)

The lobby is the foyer in the American and British parliament buildings , where members of parliament meet with interest groups and voters. With reference to this communication platform, the interest groups are also referred to as lobby groups or lobbies ( lobbying ).

The term is used as a synonym for entrance hall, reception hall, foyer , hotel hall, lounge , vestibule , vestibule , anteroom, gallery and lobby.
