Sampans is a French commune in the Jura department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Dole and the Canton of Dole-1 .
geography
In the north, the municipal border runs largely along the A36 autoroute , called "La Comptoise". The neighboring municipalities are Biarne in the north, Jouhe in the east, Monnières and Champvans in the south and Flagey-lès-Auxonne and Billey (both in the Côte-d'Or department ) in the west.
