Saint-Aubin is a French municipality with 1800 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Jura in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Dole and the Canton of Tavaux . Saint-Aubin is a member of the Grand Dole Municipal Association .
geography
The municipality is located around 15 kilometers southwest of the arrondissement capital Dole on the border with the Côte-d'Or department . It borders:
- in the north at Aumur ,
- in the northeast at Abergement-la-Ronce ,
- to the east at Tavaux and Champdivers ,
- in the southeast at Peseux ,
- to the south at Saint-Loup ,
- in the southwest at Tichey and Montagny-lès-Seurre (Dép. Côte-d'Or),
- to the west with Franxault (Dép. Côte-d'Or).
The Sablonne River , a railway line and the D468 département road cross the municipality.
