The Sablonne is a river in France that runs in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region . It rises in the local area of Tavaux , near Dole-Jura airport , generally drains in a south-westerly direction and flows into the Doubs as a right tributary after 27 kilometers at the hamlet of Le Môle in the municipality of Lays-sur-le- Doubs . On its way, the Sablonne touches the Jura , Côte-d'Or and Saône-et-Loire departments and thus forms the border between the Franche-Comté and Burgundy regions on part of the route .

Attention! Not to be confused with the similarly written Sablonné river , which also flows into the Doubs around 12 kilometers downstream at Navilly .
