Saint-Loup is a French municipality with 272 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Jura in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Dole and the Canton of Tavaux . Saint-Loup is a member of the community association Communauté de communes de la Plaine Jurassienne .

The municipality is located around 17 kilometers southwest of the arrondissement capital Dole on the border with the neighboring department of Côte-d'Or . The neighboring communities are:
- Saint-Aubin in the northeast,
- Peseux in the east,
- Chemin in the southeast,
- Annoire in the southwest,
- Bousselange in the west (Département Côte-d'Or) and
- Tichey in the north-west (Côte-d'Or department).
The place is located on the Sablonne River , which branches off in the municipality to a tributary under the name Petite Sablonne and drains to the Doubs .
