The municipality is located around 40 kilometers southwest of Besançon . Neighboring municipalities are Éclans-Nenon (point of contact) in the northeast, La Vieille-Loye and Montbarrey in the east, Vaudrey in the southeast, Bans and Mont-sous-Vaudrey in the south, Augerans in the west and Falletans in the northwest. The municipality is crossed by the Loue River.
