geography
The community is about 25 kilometers southeast of Dole . It borders in the north on Mathenay , in the north-east on Vadans , in the south-east on Abergement-le-Petit , in the south on Grozon , in the south-west on Montholier and in the west on Aumont .
Abergement-le-Grand is part of the Jura wine-growing region and is entitled to the AOC Arbois .
The Grozonne River runs along the southeastern municipal boundary and finally flows into the Orain River.
