The Autoroute A39 , called "Autoroute verte", runs through Villers-Robert without a connection. The village is affected in the southwest by the river Orain . The neighboring communities are Rahon and Nevy-lès-Dole in the north-west, Souvans in the north and east, Séligney in the south-east, Tassenières in the south and Le Deschaux in the south-west.
