The Orain is a river in France that runs in the Jura department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region . It rises in the urban area of Poligny , drains largely in a north-westerly direction, then swings to the south-west and after 39 kilometers flows into the Doubs as a left tributary in the Chaussin municipality .
