Abergement-la-Ronce is a commune with 849 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Jura in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Dole and the Canton of Tavaux . The inhabitants call themselves Abergeois.
geography
The agricultural community is located around eleven kilometers southwest of Dole on the border with the neighboring Côte-d'Or department . The neighboring municipalities are Samerey in the north (Département Côte-d'Or), Damparis in the northeast and east, Tavaux in the southeast, Saint-Aubin in the south, Aumur in the southwest and Saint-Symphorien-sur-Saône in the northwest (Département Côte-d 'Or). The municipality lies on a small ridge between the Saône and Doubs valleys . The Rhine-Rhône Canal , which connects the two valleys, crosses the municipality.
