Rainans is a French commune in the Jura department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Dole and the Canton of Authume . An early mention of the village comes from the year 1263. 1901-1933 Rainans had a station on the railway line Dole - Pesmes , whose concessionaire was the company Chemins de fer vicinaux de Haute-Saône .
