Séligney is a French commune in the Jura department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Dole and the Canton of Tavaux . The municipality borders in the northeast on Souvans , in the southeast on Villers-les-Bois , in the south on Bretenières , in the southwest on Tassenières and in the northwest on Villers-Robert .

history

Séligney was incorporated into Villers-Robert in 1824. Since 1871 it has been an independent municipality again.
