The municipality is located around 40 kilometers southwest of Besançon . Neighboring municipalities are La Vieille-Loye in the north, Santans in the east, Ounans in the southeast, Vaudrey in the south, Mont-sous-Vaudrey in the southwest and Belmont in the west. The municipality is crossed by the Loue River.
