Falletans is about six kilometers east of Dole and borders

• in the northwest at Brevans and Baverans ,
• in the north at Rochefort-sur-Nenon ,

• in the south at Augerans and Belmont ,
• in the southwest at La Loye ,
• to the west at Dole .

In the northwest, the Doubs river forms the municipal boundary . In the southeast there is a point of contact with the municipality of La Vieille-Loye .
