Aumur is a French commune in the department of Jura in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Dole and the Canton of Tavaux .
geography
The municipality is located around ten kilometers southwest of the arrondissement capital Dole on the border with the neighboring department of Côte-d'Or . The neighboring communities are Abergement-la-Ronce in the north , Saint-Aubin in the south-east and south , Franxault (Dép. Côte-d'Or) in the south-west, Losne (Dép. Côte-d'Or) in the west and Saint-Symphorien in the north-west -sur-Saône (Dép. Côte-d'Or). The A36 motorway touches the municipality in the far north-west.
