The canton of Arbois is a French constituency in the Jura department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It comprises 36 municipalities in the Arrondissement of Dole and has its main town (French: bureau centralisateur ) in Arbois . As part of the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons, it was significantly expanded in spring 2015.

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of Arbois included the 14 municipalities of Abergement-le-Grand , Arbois , La Châtelaine , La Ferté , Les Arsures , Les Planches-près-Arbois , Mathenay , Mesnay , Molamboz , Montigny-lès -Arsures , Pupillin , Saint-Cyr-Montmalin , Vadans and Villette-lès-Arbois . Its layout corresponded to an area of 143.46 km 2 , its INSEE code 3901 was the same.
