The Canton Dampierre was 2015 a French canton in the department of Jura and in the former region of Franche-Comte . It comprised 14 parishes in the Arrondissement of Dole ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Dampierre . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. Denis Jeunet was the last representative in the conseil général des départements from 2011 to 2015.
