The Canton of Salins-les-Bains was 2015 a French canton in the department of Jura and in the former region of Franche-Comte . It comprised 22 parishes in the arrondissement of Lons-le-Saunier ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Salins-les-Bains . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. Marie-Christine Chauvin ( UMP ) was the last representative in the General Council of the Department from 2001 to 2015 .
