The Canton Chaumergy was 2015 a French canton in the department of Jura and in the former region of Franche-Comte . It comprised 16 parishes in the arrondissement of Lons-le-Saunier ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Chaumergy . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. Danielle Brulebois was last representative in the conseil général des Départements from 2008 to 2015.
As part of an administrative reform, the canton of Chaumergy moved on May 1, 2006 from the Arrondissement of Dole to the Arrondissement of Lons-le-Saunier.
