The Canton of Les Planches-en-Montagne was 2015 a French canton in the department of Jura and in the former region of Franche-Comte . It comprised eight parishes in the arrondissement of Lons-le-Saunier ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Les Planches-en-Montagne . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. Gilbert Blondeau was the last representative in the conseil général des Départements from 1998 to 2015.
