The canton of Morez is a French canton in the department of Jura in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It includes seven municipalities in the arrondissement of Saint-Claude and has its main town (French: bureau centralisateur ) in Hauts de Bienne .
The Morez Valley is particularly known for its numerous medium-sized companies in the optical industry. In particular, frames are manufactured and refined here.
