The Canton of Lons-le-Saunier-Nord was by 2015 a French canton in the department of Jura and in the former region of Franche-Comte . It comprised nine parishes in the arrondissement of Lons-le-Saunier ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Lons-le-Saunier . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. The last representative in the conseil général des Départements was Marc-Henri Duvernet from 2011 to 2015.
