The municipality is located about eight kilometers west of the arrondissement capital Lons-le-Saunier . Neighboring municipalities are Fontainebrux in the north, Courlans in the east, Chilly-le-Vignoble in the south-east, Trenal and Frébuans in the south, Condamine in the south-west, Savigny-en-Revermont and Beaurepaire-en-Bresse in the west and Les Repôts in the north-west.
The municipality is crossed by the Vallière river .
