Plaisia is a French commune in the Jura department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the arrondissement of Lons-le-Saunier and the canton of Moirans-en-Montagne .
geography
Plaisia is about 20 kilometers southeast of Lons-le-Saunier and 3.5 km from Lac de Vouglans . The departmental road D470 connects the village with Orgelet in the west and La Tour-du-Meix in the east. The other neighboring communities are Mérona in the north, Largillay-Marsonnay in the northeast, Onoz in the south and Écrille (south of Orgelet) in the west. In the southeast, Plaisia borders the Orgelet enclave on the aforementioned reservoir.
