Aromas is a French commune in the Jura department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the arrondissement of Lons-le-Saunier and the canton of Moirans-en-Montagne . The neighboring communities are Charnod in the north, Vosbles-Valfin in the north and east, Thoirette-Coisia with Thoirette in the east, Corveissiat ( Ain ) in the south and west, Germagnat (Ain) in the west and Villeneuve-lès-Charnod in the northwest.

On January 1, 2017, the municipality of Villeneuve-lès-Charnod was incorporated into Aromas.
