Larnaud is a commune with 603 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Jura in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Lons-le-Saunier , the canton of Bletterans and is a member of the Bresse-Revermont community association .

The municipality is located in the Bresse natural landscape , around 20 kilometers northeast of Louhans and 10 kilometers west of Lons-le-Saunier . The neighboring municipalities of Larnaud are
- Ruffey-sur-Seille in the east,
- Montmorot and Courlans in the southeast,
- Fontainebrux in the south and
- Villevieux to the west and north.
The municipality is forested in the southwest. There are 12 small lakes here, including the Étang Grataloup , the Étang Baptiste , the Étang de la Communauté , the Étang Chalmache and the Étang des Grands Graviers . The latter is located in one of the two enclaves in the southeast . The A39 motorway runs between the main settlement, an anger village , and these exclaves .
