Cosges is a French municipality with 364 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Jura in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the arrondissement of Lons-le-Saunier and the canton of Bletterans .

geography

Cosges is bordered by Chapelle-Voland to the north, Nance to the east, Villevieux and Frangy-en-Bresse (commune in the Saône-et-Loire department ) to the south, Le Tartre ( Saône-et-Loire department ) to the west and the North-west on Bosjean (Saône-et-Loire department). The D970 trunk road connects Cosges with Bletterans in the east and Sens-sur-Seille in the west. Lake Étang Malatreux is located in the northeast of the municipal marker . The Seille flows south of Départementsstrasse .

1790–94, Cosges merged with the previous municipality of Bourgeaux.
