Beaufort Orbagna is a French commune with 1,351 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Jura in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Lons-le-Saunier and the canton of Saint-Amour and is part of the Porte du Jura municipal association . Mayor is Emmanuel Klinguer until 2020.
It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2019 through the amalgamation of the previous municipalities Beaufort and Orbagna , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative seat is in Beaufort.
