Vercia is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Val-Sonnette with 304 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Jura department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté .
The neighboring communities were Vincelles in the north, Rotalier in the east, Orbagna in the south and Beaufort in the west.
On January 1, 2017, the municipality of Vercia merged with Grusse , Bonnaud and Vincelles to form the new municipality of Val-Sonnette. It belonged to the arrondissement of Lons-le-Saunier and the canton of Saint-Amour .
