Vincelles is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Val-Sonnette with 370 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Jura department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté .

The neighboring communities were Sainte-Agnès in the north, Cesancey in the northeast, Grusse in the east, Rotalier in the southeast, Vercia in the south, Beaufort in the southwest, Bonnaud and Mallerey in the west and Trenal in the northwest.

history

From 1790 to 1794 Vincelles gradually took over the previously independent municipality of Bonnaisod .

On January 1st, 2017, the municipality of Vincelles merged with Grusse , Vercia and Bonnaud to form the new municipality of Val-Sonnette. It belonged to the arrondissement of Lons-le-Saunier and the canton of Saint-Amour .
