Val-Sonnette is a commune in the French department of Jura in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the canton of Saint-Amour in the arrondissement of Lons-le-Saunier . It was created as Commune nouvelle by a decree of July 4, 2016, which sealed the amalgamation of the previous municipalities of Bonnaud , Grusse , Vercia and Vincelles with effect from January 1, 2017. Since then, these have been Communes deleguées . Vincelles is the main town (Chef-lieu). Neighboring municipalities are Savigny-en-Revermont , Trenal with Mallerey , Sainte-Agnès , Cesancey , Saint-Laurent-la-Roche , Rotalier , Orbagna and Beaufort .
