The municipality is located about five kilometers west of the arrondissement capital Lons-le-Saunier . Neighboring communities are Larnaud in the north, Montmorot in the east, Messia-sur-Sorne in the south-east, Chilly-le-Vignoble in the south, Courlaoux in the west and Fontainebrux in the north-west.

The municipality is crossed by the Vallière river .
