Saint-Hymetière-sur-Valouse is a French municipality with 437 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Jura in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the arrondissement of Lons-le-Saunier and the canton of Moirans-en-Montagne and is part of the Petite Montagne municipal association .
Saint-Hymetière-sur-Valouse was created on January 1, 2019 through the merger of the municipalities of Chemilla , Cézia , Lavans-sur-Valouse and Saint-Hymetière . The former municipalities were not granted the status of a Commune déléguée . The main town of the municipality is Chemilla.
