Chemilla is a village in the French commune of Saint-Hymetière-sur-Valouse and a former municipality last 114 inhabitants (at January 1, 2016) in the department of Jura in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belonged to the arrondissement of Lons-le-Saunier and the canton of Moirans-en-Montagne .

On January 1, 2019, the municipality of Chemilla merged with Lavans-sur-Valouse , Saint-Hymetière and Cézia to form the Commune nouvelle Saint-Hymetière-sur-Valouse.
