Joachim Frederik Bernstorff
Joachim Friedrich Graf von Bernstorff (born October 5, 1771 in Dreilützow , † October 28, 1835 in Cismar ) was Danish Chamberlain , Privy Conference Councilor, Extraordinary Danish Envoy and Minister Plenipotentiary at the Congress in Vienna 1814/15, Danish Envoy in Vienna, owner of the Grand Cross of the Dannebrog Order and Knight of the Elephant Order .
Life
He was the son of Foreign Minister Andreas Peter von Bernstorff and his wife Henriette Frederikke, née Countess zu Stolberg-Stolberg (1747–1782). His older brother was the statesman and diplomat Christian Günther von Bernstorff .
In addition to the Neuendorf family estate , which belonged to ¾ his father through his marriage to the two daughters of the couple Christian Günther Graf zu Stolberg-Stolberg and Christiane Charlotte Countess zu Castell-Remlingen, Bernstorff also received the Borstel estate, which he had owned for a year after the inheritance, in 1798, sold to the Dutchman Matthias (Matthijs) Ooster for 314,000 Reichstaler in order to acquire the Gut Lehmkuhlen east of Preetz for 236,000 Reichstaler in the same year .

Bernstorff was married to Sophia Henriette Elisabeth von Blücher (born May 15, 1770 Lindewitt / southwest of Flensburg; † January 29, 1807 Bernstorff Castle / Gentofte) since May 9, 1795 . He had three daughters:
- Henriette Sophie Auguste Charlotte (born September 25, 1803; † January 14, 1850) ∞ Karl Ferdinand Heinrich von Roeder (1787–1856)
- Marianne Amalie (February 12, 1805; † September 1831) ∞ Heinrich Friedrich von Itzenplitz (1799–1883)
