The Valouse at Saint-Hymetière

Saint-Hymetière is a village in the French commune of Saint-Hymetière-sur-Valouse and a former municipality last 105 inhabitants (at January 1, 2016) in the Jura department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belonged to the arrondissement of Lons-le-Saunier and the canton of Moirans-en-Montagne .

The municipality of Saint-Hymetière was merged with Lavans-sur-Valouse , Chemilla and Cézia on January 1, 2019 to form the Commune nouvelle Saint-Hymetière-sur-Valouse.

geography

The river Valouse formed the municipality boundary in the west. Saint-Hymetière bordered to the north by Arinthod , on the east by Cézia , in the southeast on Chemilla , on the southwest by Vosbles-Valfin and on the west by Genod .

Attractions
