Macornay is a French commune in the Jura department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the arrondissement of Lons-le-Saunier and the canton of Lons-le-Saunier-2 . The neighboring communities are Lons-le-Saunier in the north, Montaigu in the northeast, Moiron in the east, Bornay in the southeast, Geruge in the southwest and Courbouzon in the west.
