Pimorin is a French commune in the Jura department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the arrondissement of Lons-le-Saunier and the canton of Moirans-en-Montagne .

The neighboring municipalities are Cressia in the north-west, Rothonay in the north-east, Nancuise in the south-east, Gigny in the south and Loisia in the south-west. Probably the most important branch of business in the municipality is agriculture .

Attractions

The Church of St. Martin was constructed in 1779. The Mairie is dated to 1900. The village school was also housed there until 2004. Remains of a former castle at 580  m are still there today. The Chapelle du Biolet dates from 1871.
