The Communauté de communes Petite Montagne is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Jura in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It was founded on December 20, 2007 and comprises 23 communities (as of January 1, 2019). The administrative seat is in Arinthod .
Historical development
With effect from January 1, 2017, several communes nouvelles were founded and thus the number of member communities was reduced. In addition, the municipality of La Balme-d'Épy joined the Communauté de communes Porte du Jura .
On January 1, 2018, the municipality of Chisséria was incorporated into Arinthod and the municipalities of Vosbles and Valfin-sur-Valouse merged to form the Commune nouvelle Vosbles-Valfin .
With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Chemilla , Cézia , Lavans-sur-Valouse and Saint-Hymetière became part of the Commune nouvelle Saint-Hymetière-sur-Valouse . This reduced the number of member communities to 23.
