The Communauté de communes Jura Saint-Claude is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Jura in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It was founded on November 16, 2010 and comprises 22 municipalities (as of January 1, 2019). The administrative headquarters are in Saint-Claude .

Historical development

With effect from January 1, 2017, two further Communes nouvelles were founded, reducing the number of member communities.

With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Molinges and Chassal became part of the Commune nouvelle Chassal-Molinges . Likewise, the former municipality of Pratz became part of the Commune nouvelle Lavans-lès-Saint-Claude and the former municipality of Villard-sur-Bienne into the Commune nouvelle Nanchez . The latter is a member of the Communauté de communes La Grandvallière . This reduced the total area and the number of member communities to 22.
