Grusse is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Val-Sonnette with 187 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Jura department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté .
The neighboring communities were Cesancey in the north, La Chailleuse in the east and south, Rotalier in the south-west and Vincelles in the west.
On January 1, 2017, the municipality of Grusse was merged with Bonnaud , Vercia and Vincelles to form the new municipality of Val-Sonnette. It belonged to the arrondissement of Lons-le-Saunier and the canton of Saint-Amour .
