Gryffin (2018)

Dan Griffith (born September 29, 1987 in San Francisco ), better known as Gryffin (often written as GRYFFIN ), is an American DJ and music producer. He became famous for remixes such as Talking Body by Tove Lo and Animals by Maroon 5 . Gryffin describes his style as melodic house , in which he often incorporates the sounds of piano and guitar.

Career

Gryffin learned to play the piano and guitar classically from childhood. He studied electrical engineering at the University of Southern California , where he made music in his spare time. He moved to Los Angeles to live closer to his record label.

On January 22, 2016, Gryffin released his debut single Heading Home together with the Australian singer Josef Salvat on Interscope Records , the accompanying music video was released on May 2, 2016. The song reached number 22 on Billboard Hot Dance / Electronic Songs.

His debut album Gravity was released on October 24, 2019, the first part was released as an EP in 2018 and reached number 12 on the top dance / electronic albums in the USA.
