AlunaGeorge is a British band consisting of the singer Aluna Francis and the musician George Reid.

biography

Francis and Reid had been active in other bands before they formed a duo. They quickly made a name for themselves with their independent pop music with R&B and 2step elements and released their first single in 2011. They had their first chart success in October 2012 with Your Drums, Your Love . In January 2013, a BBC jury placed them in second place in the Sound of 2013 , which predicted their breakthrough for the following year. The debut album Body Music was released on July 26, 2013.
