Dreezy
Dreezy (* 28. March 1994 in Chicago as Seandrea Sledge ) is an American singer , songwriter and rapper .
Life
Seandrea Sledge was born and raised in Chicago on March 28, 1994. She often moved there because her parents separated. At the age of fourteen she started rapping instead of singing. She became a good friend of rapper Sasha Go Hard and was featured in her song I Ain't No Hitta . In February 2013 she released a mixtape with Chicago rapper Mikey Dollaz. This is called Business N Pleasure .
A year later, in February 2014, she released her first own mixtape Schizo , which was released under the AOE Records label. On the mixtape there is also a song with the rapper Common , which is called No Good . In April 2014 she released a remix of the song Chiraq , which is actually by Nicki Minaj and Lil Herb. Many fans found the version of Dreezy better than the original with Minaj. In December 2014, it was announced that Sledge had signed a contract with Interscope Records . A year later, on December 25, 2015, their first EP was released. It is called From Now On and contains a total of five songs, including Serena . The EP was produced by Metro Boomin and 808's Mafia. A music video was shot for the songs Serena and From Now On and published on Youtube and Vevo.
In January 2016, their first single, Body ft. Jeremih , was released. The song reached number 62 in the US charts and has been in the charts for 12 weeks so far. On June 16, 2016, the song We Gon Ride was released together with Gucci Mane . An audio version was released on YouTube on June 22nd . On June 21, 2016, the single Close to You was released with rapper T-Pain . On June 23, 2016 she released the tracklist from her debut album, which is called No Hard Feelings and will be released worldwide on July 15, 2016 under the Interscope label. On June 8, 2016, the fourth single Spazz was released. Her debut album only reached number 101 in the United States and only stayed there for a week. On August 4th, the music video for We Gon Ride was released on Vevo. Wasted was released on November 15 as the fifth single from the album. The video for the song was released on December 15, 2016, one month after the single was released. In February 2017, her song Body went platinum in the United States . On July 28, 2017, she released the single FDN .
As the first single from their second studio album, the song Spar was released on October 20, 2017 together with 6lack and Kodak Black . The second single from the album followed on November 17, 2017, the song Can't Trust a Soul in collaboration with the musician PnB Rock . An exact date when the album will be released is not yet known. The title is just as little known. On January 19, 2018, the single 2nd to None was released , which she recorded with the rapper 2 Chainz . With Where Them $ @ another single was released on June 8th of the same year. Together with Kash Doll, the song Chanel Slides was released as a single on December 14, 2018 .
