Corveissiat is located about 19 kilometers east-northeast of Bourg-en-Bresse in the Revermont . The Ain , into which the Valouse flows here, limits the municipality to the east. The neighboring communities are Aromas in the north, Thoirette-Coisia with Thoirette in the north-east, Matafelon-Granges in the east and north-east, Bolozon and Cize in the south, Grand-Corent in the south-west, Simandre-sur-Suran in the west and south-west, Chavannes-sur- Suran in the west and northwest and Germagnat in the northwest.
