Condeissiat is on the border between the Bresse and Dombes landscapes , about ten kilometers west-southwest of the prefecture of Bourg-en-Bresse . Condeissiat is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chaveyriat in the north, Montracol in the northeast, Saint-André-sur-Vieux-Jonc in the east, Saint-André-le-Bouchoux in the south, Romans in the southwest, Neuville-les-Dames in the west and Chanoz- Châtenay in the northwest.
