Saint-Julien-sur-Veyle is a French commune in the Ain department in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the canton of Vonnas in the Bourg-en-Bresse arrondissement . It is bordered by Vonnas to the northeast , Sulignat to the south, Illiat to the southwest, Saint-André-d'Huiriat to the west and Biziat to the northwest . The residents call themselves the Juliveylois or Juliveyloises.
