Béréziat is located about 22 kilometers north-northwest of Bourg-en-Bresse and about 17 kilometers east-northeast of the city of Mâcon . Béréziat is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Étienne-sur-Reyssouze in the north and north-west, Saint-Jean-sur-Reyssouze in the north and east, Marsonnas in the south and Boissey in the west.
