Saint-André-d'Huiriat is located in the Bresse countryside , about eleven kilometers southeast of Mâcon and about 24 kilometers west of Bourg-en-Bresse . Saint-André-d'Huiriat is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Laiz in the north, Biziat in the east, Saint-Julien-sur-Veyle in the southeast, Illiat in the south and Cruzilles-lès-Mépillat in the west.
